ProductsTo make easier the orientation in the products of the Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji S.A. they have been classified by two criteria. This classification is just of utilitary nature and does not pretend to the strict technical or application approach. The first criterion is essential destination of the specific product, that means its major Users. In this number are products dedicated for three services of Armed Forces, for non-military homeland security services, (e.g. Border Guards), for civilian or semi-civilian air traffic control and some products, to which no specific user can be assigned. Another criterion is the class of the equipment from the point of view of the technical solution or technology of the product. According this criterion, Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji S.A. offers the following classes of products: 3D surveillance radars, quiet LPI FMCW radars, small pulse radars, MPA radars, ESM/EW equipment, command and control systems and the class “subsystems, components”. It is obvious that some products of a specific class may find application with several Users, e.g. the coastal radars may be used by Navy, by Border Guard and also by civilian security services to protect any coastal facilities. |
