The Gdańsk Division (OG) of the Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji S.A. has been active since 1950. Since its beginning the Division has been successfully oriented at the sea applications, particularly at the solutions for Polish Navy.
The activity of the Division covers studies, R&D and design works in the following areas:
- Navy-oriented radar technology,
- electronic recognition and ESM equipment,
- antenna systems and microwave assemblies for radar and communications,
- radar information processing and displaying techniques for the maritime applications, the civilian aviation and the recognition systems,
- subsystems for communications, radionavigation, hydrolocation and magnetometry.
The results of the OG’s R&D and design works, the equipment and subsystems as well the OG-developed complete systems which use the r.f, microwave, digital and information technologies can be found in almost all products being offered by the Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji S.A.
